Discounts for repeat insertions in Auction News

• Colour: 10%
• Mono: 50% (2 maximum per full price advert booked) *
• Wanted and For 'Sale' : 4 Week Series - 10.0%; 13 Week Series - 15.0%; 26 Week Series - 20.0%

* Page position for half price mono inserts will not be guaranteed. For guaranteed page position, the full rate will apply.

Lineage insertions

Lineage advertisements for Auction & Tender Sales will be inserted in a single issue of "Auction News" FREE OF CHARGE. Maximum 150 words approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the sale. (insertion date is at our discretion). Further insertions, if required, are charged at the single column centimetre seen in the Advertising Rates table.

Copy deadline

• COLOUR: 12 Noon Wednesday prior to publication.
• MONO: 12 Noon Thursday prior to publication.

Acceptance of advertisements booked after the above deadline is at the discretion of Auction News Ltd.

Payment

Please make cheques/postal orders payable to "Auction News Ltd" and send to Auction News, P.O. Box 64A, Derby, DE1 3DG. Payments by credit card will surcharged by 3%.
Payment terms are strictly 30 days from date of invoice.
New advertisers please note that until credit terms are established, advertisements will only be accepted if pre-paid.

All U.K. advertisement charges are liable to VAT at 17.5%.

Cancellations

Cancellations can only be accepted up to 12 Noon Tuesday prior to publication for colour adverts and 12 Noon Wednesday prior to publication for mono adverts. A cancellation fee equal to half the cost of the advertisement will then become payable.

The publishers and the law

We retain the right to refuse or withdraw advertisements. Whilst every care is taken to avoid mistakes, the publishers do not accept liability for clerical or printers errors or offer any reduction in charges. Advertisers are reminded that they are responsible for complying with the various legal restrictions in force at the time. e.g. The Trade Descriptions Act, The Business Advertisements (Disclosures) Order 1977, The Sex Discriminations Act, etc.
